Social Care is operated by a unique collaboration between people who know about looking after each other – people with disability, and a registered NDIS provider. Together, we decided to build a first aid kit, and easy to follow instruction guide, that every household should have because it:
- Drew upon years of nursing experience of treating cuts, abrasions, burns, sprains, and other minor injuries that will occur at home at any time
- Did good – employed people with disability
- Provided the ‘one stop’ place to go, when an accident occurs at home. The ‘Break Glass’ box of first aid solutions
- Provides contents that can be easily replaced
